Hummingbird Attractor, Cypress Vine Seeds, Easy to Grow Annual, 25 Seeds per package, Delicate Vining Plant, Scarlet & Pink Blooms

$4.25
This listing is for 25 Cypress Vine seeds, Ipomoea quamoclit.
Hummingbirds LOVE Cypress vine and it will flower in about 50 days from seedling stage. Once my Cypress Vines really get blooming in mid to late July, the hummingbird feeder becomes unnecessary. I plant them in several locations around my house.
They will vine vigorously and prefer slender rungs for attachment, but will also twine around thicker posts and poles.
They thrive in hot weather and full sun.
They are a member of the morning glory family so make sure they are not invasive in your area.
Seed in soil blocks or seedling trays, cover with a decent layer of soil. Keep soil moist and warm, they should sprout in 5-7 days, sometimes less, but the soil must be warm (around 70 degrees F)
Let them grow up a bit in pots and then plant out in full sun against a trellis or arch, fence, or somewhere they can gain purchase.
I grow these every summer and my hummingbirds love it.
